Order LookupInsulated Multitap Wire Connectors
Available6 products
Insulated multitap wire connectors have setscrews that create semipermanent, weatherproof connections to tap, terminate, and splice cables and heavier gauge conductors without special tools. These connectors transfer power and ground in indoor and outdoor applications, such as electrical panels, industrial machinery, and irrigation equipment. They consist of a metal connector with an insulated housing that protects the conductors against abrasion and chemical damage. Their ports seal with a cap when not used and contain an oxide inhibitor that surrounds conductors to prevent corrosion and protect them from moisture and contaminants.

Direct Burial-Rated, In-Line Entry Multitap Connectors
These multitap connectors have ports with extended sleeves filled with an oxide inhibitor that surrounds conductors as they push through the sleeve to make contact with the busbar. Their sleeves prevent water, air, and contaminants from entering the connection and damaging the conductors. They resist corrosion and are suitable for wet locations and direct burial applications, such as outdoor water systems, underground power and ground connections, and submersible pumps. In-line connectors transfer connections in parallel directions.
