Hazardous-Location Straight-Blade Receptacles
Hazardous-location straight-blade receptacles provide safe electrical connections in environments where the possibility of flammable gases, vapors, or liquids, ignitable fibers or flyings, or combustible dust may exist under normal and abnormal conditions. They have location ratings that classify their suitable environment for operation and must be mated with compatible hazardous-location plugs to be compliant.
