These flanged midget single-outlet receptacles have mounting surfaces to secure them in cutouts on panels, equipment, walls, and enclosures. Midget receptacles are smaller than standard receptacles and can fit into tight spaces and equipment they cannot. They are only compatible with midget locking-blade plugs. These receptacles have screw terminations that tighten down on conductors to secure them. Single-outlet receptacles support one electrical plug and are often used to designate circuits for appliances and equipment.
