Two-Piece Conduit Connectors
Two-piece conduit connectors are used when space inside and around the electrical junction box is limited and a low-profile fitting is needed. The first piece is a gland ring that positions onto the EMT conduit. The second piece acts as a locknut and connector that fits into the knockout. The conduit is pushed into the second piece until it hits the stop, and the gland ring can be tightened for a secure fit.
