Locknuts for Heavy-Wall RMC & Medium-Wall IMC Metal Conduit
Locknuts fasten threaded heavy-wall RMC and medium-wall IMC metal conduit and connectors to an unthreaded opening in an electrical box or enclosure. They screw onto the end of the conduit or connector after it’s been inserted in the knockout, and have serrated teeth that grip the opening for a tight fit that prevents vibrations from loosening the connection.
Locknuts for Threaded Conduit (RMC/IMC)
These locknuts join threaded RMC and IMC conduit and connectors to unthreaded knockouts in electrical junction boxes and enclosures. They thread onto the end of a conduit or connector that’s been inserted into a knockout. Their serrated teeth grip the knockout and prevent vibrations that can loosen the connection.
