Expansion Fittings
Expansion fittings for RMC and IMC conduit connect two sections of conduit and compensate for movement along the length due to temperature fluctuations, deflection, or misalignment. Also known as expansion and deflection couplers, they are commonly installed where conduit extends across structural joints.
Expansion Fittings
Expansion fittings create a stable connection that prevents buckling and damage to supports on long runs of RMC or IMC conduit. Their stainless steel body resists corrosion and protects wire within the conduit. They mount without requiring a clamp or an external bonding jumper.
