These continuous rolls of film masking tape resist high temperatures and conform to uneven surfaces. Polyester-backed film masking tape is flexible with thermal and chemical resistance. Polyimide-backed film masking tape is thermal, chemical, and abrasion resistant, with higher heat and abrasion resistance than polyester-backed masking tape. Self-fusing vinyl tape is nonadhesive and holds in place by fusing together when wrapped around itself. Film masking tape is used in powder coating, masking metal surfaces, solder masking, and hard chrome plating.

Self-Fusing High-Temperature Film Plating Tape
This high-temperature film tape is constructed of a self-fusing vinyl that is nonadhesive. The tape holds in place by fusing together when wrapped around itself. This flexible and conformable tape masks surfaces without exposing the surface to an adhesive. It is primarily used in hard chrome-plating processes.
