Pipe Thread Sealant Tape
Pipe thread sealant tape wraps around pipe threads to ease assembly and seal the connection against leaks. This tape is made of PTFE (polytetrafluorethylene) which provides lubrication for tightening and loosening. The higher the tape density the greater the sealing power.
General Purpose Pipe Sealant Tape
General purpose pipe thread sealant tape is used in applications that involve non-corrosive media. The higher the density grade, the stronger the sealing power with fewer wraps of tape.
