Flame Burs (SH)
Available37 products
Flame burs (SH) chamfer and smooth bore and contoured holes and slots. The tapered and outwardly curved round shape cleans and finishes curved surfaces. Cutting edges are made from carbide, which is a hard material that resists wear and limits heat. Carbide burs attach to rotary power tools such as die grinders, high-speed engravers, and pendant drills.
Double-Cut Flame Burs
Double-cut flame burs (SH) have crossing left- and right-hand flutes to quickly remove stock from steel, stainless steel, and other high-strength ferrous metals while leaving a smoother finish than single-cut burs.

Single-Cut Flame Burs
Single-cut flame burs (SH) have parallel rows of right-hand spiral flutes to balance stock removal and finish. Single-cut burs are used in general applications to evacuate chips on most materials, including brass, copper, cast iron, and steel.

Inox-Cut Flame Burs
Inox-cut flame burs (SH) are designed for high stock removal and high-quality finish cuts on stainless steel without producing high heat that can cause annealing and workpiece discoloration.

Steel-Cut Flame Burs
Steel-cut flame burs (SH) make aggressive cuts in steel and hardened steel. Large chips are removed quickly to keep surface temperatures low to reduce annealing that can cause workpiece discoloration.

Diamond-Cut Flame Burs
Diamond-cut flame burs (SH) have a fine, cross-hatch fluted pattern for aggressive stock removal on all steels and nickel- and cobalt-based special alloys. Diamond-cut burs leave a rougher finish than other bur types.
