Grinding Wheels for Moderate-to-Heavy Grinding of Tool Steels
Dish (type 12) grinding wheels made of grade 32A aluminum oxide are suitable for moderate to high feed rate and medium to heavy stock removal of most tool steels. Grade 32A is a vitrified monocrystalline aluminum oxide grain for cool and fast cutting of vanadium alloys and other steels. It's suitable for use at moderate to heavy feed rates with minimal dressing in cylindrical, surface, and toolroom grinding.
