Marine bilge pumps are used on boats to drain unwanted water that enters the boat from openings on the deck, through the hull, or from a leaking propeller shaft seal. Hand bilge pumps are manually operated and use lever action to run the pump. Electric bilge pumps are battery powered and have a higher flow rate than hand-operated bilge pumps.
