Rigid couplings for round shafts firmly join two round shafts of the same size together. This type of coupling is intended for applications where alignment is critical and flexibility is not required, such as mixers and servos.
One-Piece Rigid Shaft Couplings
One-piece rigid shaft couplings lock two shafts together when both shafts are inserted and all of the socket cap screws are torqued down to close the slotted clamp. This clamping action firmly grips both shafts without marring. The two shafts and coupling must be installed simultaneously to ensure proper alignment.
