Spherical roller bearings support heavy radial loads in applications prone to misalignment and shaft deflection due to heavy shock loads. They have a double row of rollers and each roller has a slight curvature in their profile which makes them less likely to become misaligned on the shaft than cylindrical roller bearings.

High-Clearance Spherical Roller Bearings
High-clearance spherical roller bearings have more space within the bearing housing. They are useful when there is an increased press fit on the housing, elevated temperatures that may cause expansion, or a slight misalignment between the housing and the shaft.

Retaining Flanged Inner Ring Spherical Roller Bearings
These spherical roller bearings have an inner ring with a retaining flange on both sides. A floating guide ring is centered on the inner ring. Inner ring flanges are designed to keep the rollers in place when swiveling the bearing during mounting or maintenance.
