Square-Drive Hydraulic Torque Wrenches & Sockets
Available97 products
Square-drive hydraulic torque wrenches use sockets to tighten and loosen nuts and bolts. They apply a specific tightening force so that fasteners won't loosen over time or get damaged from overtorquing, or they apply a specific breakout force to remove fasteners. Hydraulic torque wrenches are commonly used to turn bolted fasteners on pipe flanges.
Square-Drive Torque Wrenches
Square-drive hydraulic torque wrenches connect to a hydraulic pump and convert fluid pressure into force for turning fasteners. The pump allows setting the pressure to deliver the required torque to the wrench. The square drive of the wrench accepts interchangeable hydraulic torque wrench sockets to match different-sized nuts and bolts. These wrenches turn the fastener from one end while a backup spanner locks down the other end, so the wrench can tighten or loosen the fastener and not just spin it.

Torque Checkers for Square-Drive Torque Wrenches
Torque checkers determine whether hydraulic wrench systems are delivering the expected torque when tightening and loosening fasteners. They test the performance of square-drive hydraulic torque wrenches, pumps, and other system components to validate accuracy or confirm that the system requires recalibration. These portable, compact testers allow onsite testing, completing checks within seconds and displaying results on a digital readout. They are commonly used between annual calibrations to ensure accuracy and prevent undertightening or overtightening of bolts.
